New Manicure Suddenly Looks Dull!

So I put a beautiful Essie color called attitude on my toes and yes I know this is considered a winter nail polish. 
But it is a beautiful red and a fine polish color for any season.

I only had the polish on my toes for two days and looked down at my toes and about half of the polish had turned dull.

Oh no! :0(
Has this ever happened to you? Your brand new manicure all of a sudden has turned dull?
I new immediately what caused it.
Do you know what it could be?

It was bug spray.
I really don't like using bug spray, but with the scare of Zika and the fact that I'm a mosquito magnet, sometimes I just have to do it.

So what can you do to fix that dull nail polish? Do you have to take off your polish and start over?

The great answer is no! 
Yay!

A lot of things can make your polish look dull things like hair products, cleaning products and yes bug spray. 

Sometimes just a little soap and water is all you need to get that shine back.

But what if soap and water don't work?

Well most of the time you don't even have to remove your polish.
First try to clean the nails with soap and water, dry them and apply another shiny top coat over the dull polish and your beautiful shinny polish should be back!
