Stuck Polish Top!

 

Oh no! The top is stuck and it's your favorite nail polish color.

What should you do?

I just read that you should use Vaseline around the top of your nail polish bottle to keep it from sticking.

I waaaaaaaay disagree and here is why.





If you think about how many times you wipe that nail polish brush on the top of that bottle when you are painting your nails. 
Then you will know that the Vaseline would end up in your polish.

I promise you don't want Vaseline in your nail polish, it would be like mixing oil and water. (Not Good!)

The best thing you can do to keep your polish top from sticking. Is just carefully wipe around the top of the bottle to remove the excess polish.

Of course you must be careful not to ruin your nails if they are wet. 

You may also just close the bottle enough to keep air out and go back after your nails are dry and use gloves when cleaning it off with a little bit of your remover.

Here are a couple of solutions to getting your polish bottle open if it gets stuck.

Soak only the polish top in hot water.

Stuck top on nail polish

Use something like the Cap Ninja which is specifically made for opening nail polish.
