Does it take forever for you to remove your nail polish?
Your polish remover just not removing your polish as fast as you think it should? So today I am rambling again (Oh No!)
I read a lot while I am searching for information to add to the site for you and I see good articles as well as not so good ones. I try to share all the good ones! *wink*
But here is something that is bugging me.........I have seen this over and over and over about how bad it is to use acetone
to remove nail products from your nails. Well I would just like to say again mainly because in a lot of my post I have recommended that you use acetone instead of nail polish remover.
So here is the deal if you are only removing your product once a week (and once a week is really all you should be doing) then in my opinion acetone is your best choice because it is quicker and will be on your nail for a shorter period of time. Worked for me for over 20 years!
So how bad is Acetone you ask! Acetone is a very safe solvent however it is very flammable. Use it properly you should be just fine! You know it wouldn't be on the shelf for you to buy at Sally Beauty if you were not supposed to use it. Think about that!
And just in case you don't believe me here is an article from one of the Most Trusted Scientist in our Industry and you can read what he has to say about how most of what you read and hear is myth and misinformation. He even compares the acetone to water.
You can click here to read the truth about acetone. :-0
Do you use Acetone to remove your nail polish?
