Well today let's talk about a different kind of hot nails and one that most of us don't wont. ;-)
Today's topic is why does the gel burn when I put it under the UV Lamp.
If you feel a burning sensation when curing your gel under the lamp it could be for a couple different reasons, usually the main reasons the gel burns would be:
- Your gel could be applied to thick. Try doing thin layers of gel and curing in between. If you have already applied it thick and it did burn usually when you put your hand back in the lamp the second time won't burn because the chemical reaction has already happened.Just try and remember a few thin coats is always better and you will avoid that heat sensation.
- Your nails may be thin or week if this is the case then try getting your nails in better shape and remember you will have to grow off the damaged nail which takes 3 to 4 months then try it again.
- Some people seem to have a sensitivity to the gels and if this is the case then maybe the gels are not your best choice. If the gels don't work for you, don't give up because there are so many nail products available today there is surely one out there that will work for you.
Do you have hot nails? "wink" do
your nails burn when you put them in the Gel Light?
