Easier way to remove your polish when doing a Manicure at Home

Tip for removing your nail polish

If it seems like it takes you forever to get your old nail polish off then this may help!
BEFORE YOU BEGAN MAKE SURE TO COVER THE SURFACE WHERE YOU WORK ;-)
This is only recommended to do once a week. You really shouldn't be changing your polish more than once a week because the remover or acetone can be very drying to your nails as well as your cuticles.

Things you will need: One Small bottle of 100% pure acetone and 100% cotton balls ( 100% cotton will be more absorbent and it will hold the acetone on your nail ) Sally Beauty Supply usually has small bottles of acetone available and it should be near the polish remover ) they probably also have the 100% cotton balls.

Do one hand at a time: Wet a cotton ball with the acetone and lay it on the pinky nail. ( leave it there)

Go to the next nail and do the same, until you get all the nails on one hand covered. ( at this point you should have all five nails covered with cotton balls soaked with acetone).

Now go back to the pinky nail and with a little pressure, pull the cotton forward, the polish should be dissolved enough that it should come off really easy. Then do the same with the other hand.

This also helps when wearing dark color nail polish, the cotton will absorb most of the nail color so just pull it off and wet a new cotton ball to remove what is left on the nail. Your skin around your nail won't get nearly as stained.
Hope you enjoyed the tip and hope it makes your next manicure go a lot quicker for you.
